Alpine General Construction was founded in 2013 by Jonas Loehr and Kim Meyer.
Both grew up in Germany around construction. Kim’s father operated a roofing company there for many years. Roofing and carpentry were part of daily life long before Alpine existed.

When they moved to Canada, they continued building their careers here. Jonas completed his Red Seal carpenter certification and both gained hands-on experience before launching Alpine in Sherwood Park.
The Alpine name and logo reflect that family history: a second-generation connection to roofing and craftsmanship carried forward in Alberta.

We intentionally operate with a small team, typically two to five people, including a carpenter apprentice. Teaching the next generation matters to us. Craftsmanship should be passed down properly, not rushed.
Our reputation is built on our personal work. We don’t run a dozen crews at once. We stay involved, on site and accountable for the final result.
Pride in the finished product.
We care about clean lines, solid structure and details done properly. We want you happy during the roofing or renovation and proud of the result long after we leave.
Over a decade operating Alpine General Construction, plus years of international training and experience before that.
